- Deep in the texts of the scriptures are prophecies not only of the Lord coming into the world to set up the kingdom of God but also of the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of the Lord as spoken by Elizabeth under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, "And how can this be that the Mother of my Lord visit me..". For the Jew, Lord is God, thus the Blessed Mother is called in the bible as the Mother of God.
- But the enemies of the church would not have any of it even if it is found in the bible. They reason out how can God have a Mother? To which the reply, Jesus is true God, the Son of the Living God and therefore Elizabeth under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit was speaking of the truth, Mary is the Mother of the Lord God. To God, nothing is impossible, if God wants to have a Mother he can have a mother and that's what he did. Can we separate the divinity of the Lord with his humanity? No, the same Jesus is both God and Man and he has Mary as his Mother.
- With the establishment of the kingdom of God, the Holy Catholic Church, the prophecy in Psalm 45:6-11 comes to life, which when speaking of the Kingdom of God also speaks of its Queen.
Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. Thou love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. Kings' daughters were among thy honorable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him."Upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir". Who is the queen referred to in this prophetic Psalm of David? In the Old Testament monarchy of David's kingdom, the queen was the Queen Mother. Likewise in Solomon which was the continuation of David, Bathsheba played the Queen Mother. Thus it is fitting that the Church recognized and give honor to the Queen of Heaven, the Blessed Virgin Mary who is the Mother of Jesus, the Mother of God.
Jesus said all powers in heaven and on earth have given me.
