NOTES ON APOLOGETICS:
We are now featuring Catholic Apologetics as a rich resource of Catholics visiting our blogs to have the means to defend ones faith against the attacks of the non-Catholic religion which are so numerous now in the Social Media. Their heresy can be very devastating to the faith of the Catholics who don't have sound foundation on the doctrines and history of the Catholic Church that they become easy prey to the false prophets and false teachers who pretend to be Christians but are leading the true Christians who are the Catholics away from the true Church of the Living God and take away their salvation.
As St. Peter said we must always be ready to make a defense of our faith in his words "...but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always
being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for
the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence," (1 Pet.
3:15). Thus Apologetics is an art of communication by which we convince people to change their views from falsehood to the truth in Jesus Christ in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church, the Pillar and Foundation of the Truth.
In the work of convincing people to change their
views through Apologetics apologists also take the role of evangelists or preachers for the Catholic Faith because its goal is ultimately the defense and presentation of the
validity and necessity of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. It is to persuade the other side to listen and believe in the true biblical truths, change life, and be saved through the church of Jesus Christ who founded and built his church for the said purpose.
